The client’s vision for the office centered on integrating timeless charm with modern practicality. The aim was to infuse the space with classic grandeur while ensuring it remained functional for contemporary needs. The design palette, characterized by refined subdued colors, elegance, fine materials, and academic ambiance, reflects the institution’s scholarly distinction.
Sahiba’s Design Studio meticulously brought this vision to life, rooted in the Neo-Classical theme. Every element within the space was thoughtfully chosen to encapsulate the university’s legacy of excellence and its forward-looking vision.
Classical architecture inspired the design, with symmetrical layouts, graceful columns, and intricate moldings reflecting the elegance of antiquity. This intentional homage to the past harmoniously coexists with modern sensibilities, evident in the integration of reflective gold materials, ergonomic furniture, and efficient layout planning. The subdued color palette evokes a serene atmosphere conducive to profound contemplation and scholarly pursuits.
The design studio envisions an environment where the Vice-Chancellor can navigate the demands of academia in an ambiance that embodies both the wisdom of history and the promise of tomorrow.
Meticulously fusing aesthetics, planning, and material selection, the design studio keeps to the principles of symmetry and balance, characteristic of Neo-Classical architecture, instilling a sense of order and elegance. Collaborative spaces were strategically placed, furnished with plush seating to encourage dialogue and the exchange of ideas.
Material selection played a pivotal role, with wood chosen for custom furniture, handcrafted to infuse warmth and sophistication. Lush fabrics in muted tones adorned the upholstery and drapery, elevating the tangible sensation.
The carefully curated color palette included soft whites, pale creams, and muted pastels, resonating with classical aesthetics and creating a serene backdrop for concentration.
Innovative technology seamlessly integrated into the design aligns with the university’s commitment to advancement. Discreetly placed charging ports, smart lighting systems, and multimedia setups cater to modern academic needs without disrupting the classic aesthetic.
